Some Athlone train services to have reduced capacity on Saturday

Irish Rail has said two of its services on the Galway to Dublin line will have lower capacity than usual tomorrow (Saturday, May 18).

In a social media post, the company said reduced capacity would be in effect on the 16:30 Dublin Heuston to Galway train, which serves Tullamore, Athlone and Ballinasloe.

There will also be reduced capacity on the 19:20 Galway to Dublin Heuston service tomorrow, which stops at Ballinasloe, Athlone, Clara and Tullamore.

In addition, the company advised customers that there would be reduced capacity on the 17:00 Heuston to Cork, and 20:25 Cork to Heuston trains on Saturday.
