Congratulations to the two teams from Our Lady’s Bower that took part in the Leinster Beach Volleyball Championships at Bettystown beach on Thursday 18th April.
There was huge success on the day with both teams making it all the way to the Leinster semi-finals, with team 1 progressing to the final where they took on Loreto Kilkenny.
There was a great atmosphere throughout the final match with Our Lady’s Bower holding a steady lead throughout the game and taking home the Leinster Beach Volleyball trophy for the second year in a row!
After becoming the first school from an inland county to win the title last year, our Lady's Bower is thrilled to now also be the first school to win the title two years in a row. Well done to the team on this wonderful achievement.
