New logo and branding reflect growth of Athlone's Shamrock Lodge Hotel

Athlone's Shamrock Lodge Hotel has unveiled a new logo and revamped branding to reflect the continuous investment and significant renovations carried out at the hotel in recent years.

The Shamrock Lodge Hotel, a cherished gem in the heart of Athlone, has played host to a multitude of unforgettable events and distinguished guests, from christenings and weddings to royal visits and presidential stays. The hotel’s rich history is interwoven with the fabric of Athlone, making it a cherished local landmark that embraces the town’s vibrant heritage.

At a launch event for the new branding on Thursday last, the hotel outlined how it had grown and adapted to changes over the years and that the property had been subject to significant investment in recent years.

As a result, it was felt that the branding no longer represented the direction the hotel is taking.

An exciting project managed by the hotel’s Sales and Marketing Manager Mary Glynn, involved the transformation of the hotel’s branding and brand message.

Darren Doyle, Studio93, along with his colleague Clare Fitzgerald worked diligently with the hotel team for months to create new branding guidelines and a stunning new logo which now fully represents the exciting future which lies ahead for the Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

Paddy McCaul, Hotel Proprietor, says, “The project could not have been completed without the help of Darren, Clare and a huge amount of local suppliers, our staff and those who have supported us for many years.

“We wish to thank you all so much for the support over the last 30 years and for the coming years, we look forward to it.”

At the official launch on Thursday, Paddy and Alan McCaul, general manager, thanked everyone involved in the process..

“As a family, we are extremely proud of the new branding and we all look forward to the future,” Alan said.

April 2024 will mark the 30-year anniversary of the McCaul family taking the helm of the Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

Alan added: “We want to thank the staff that have worked with us over the years and continue to do so. We are very lucky to such dedicated and professional staff.”

“We believe that the genuine warmth, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere provided by the staff of Shamrock Lodge Hotel make all the difference in your stay.

“We invite you to come and experience the true essence of Irish hospitality with us and see the changes that we have made. We look forward to welcoming you all.”
