Gardai looking for owner of bicycle found in Athlone

Gardai are looking for the owner of a black Carrera bicycle found in centre of Athlone.

In a social media post this afternoon (Tuesday), Gardai shared the above photo of the bike, which is described as being in very good condition.

If someone sees this, and believes it's their bicycle, they are being asked to contact the property office at Athlone Garda Station on 09064 21710.

Gardai said proof of ownership of the bike will be required.
