Athlone Town star makes cut for Team of the Year
Athlone Town striker Frantz Pierrot has been included in the PFA Ireland Men's First Division Team of the Year for the 2023 season.
Pierrot's goalscoring prowess was an important factor in Athlone reaching this season's play-offs, where they lost out to Waterford over two legs.
Pierrot, who grew up in Massachusetts in the United States of America, has played at international level for Haiti, where he was born.
First Division champions Galway United have four players on the team. Waterford, who finished second before going on to secure promotion via the play-offs, have the largest representation on the team with five players.
Athlone's Pierrot and Jack Doherty of Cobh Ramblers make up the remainder of the selection.
