The awards, organised by Athlone Chamber of Commerce, and supported by several large sponsors, honour the contributions of businesses and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, and dedication in their respective fields.
The Athlone Business Awards are open to all businesses, across varying sectors and sizes, from the emerging to SME’s to large indigenous and multinational organisations.
This year's gala awards night takes place in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on November 4.
Speaking at the launch on Friday, acting president of Athlone Chamber Alan Shaw thanked the various sponsors for their support and acknowledged the work of the chamber's own staff in organising the awards.

Athlone Chamber of Commerce CEO Tommy Hogan encouraged the local business community to enter the awards.
A dedicated website athlonebusinessawards.ie has been established with a simple nomination form available on the site.
It is not necessary to be an Athlone Chamber member to apply for the awards. Business can enter and/or nominate other businesses. Visit athlone businessawards.ie
