Below average rainfall for most areas with temperatures a little above average, in the mid to high teens. That's the latest bulletin from the national weather forecaster.
Dry today with some cloud and spells of hazy sunshine. Turning rather cloudy in the north later. Highest temperatures generally of 15 to 19 degrees, perhaps a little cooler along Atlantic coasts. Light to moderate southwest winds will develop, becoming westerly later.
Staying dry tonight with variable cloud cover and some clear spells. Lows of 4 to 8 degrees. Southwesterly winds will be mostly light or near calm, remaining moderate in strength along western coasts.
Dull in the west tomorrow morning with outbreaks of rain or drizzle, becoming dry and brighter here later in the afternoon. For the rest of the country it will be dry to start with some bright spells, but patchy rain will spread from the west through the afternoon and evening. Highs of 14 to 18 degrees. Light to moderate southwest to west breezes.
Thursday night, a few spots of rain will linger in the east, clearing. Becoming dry in most areas with clear spells. The odd patch of mist or fog will form in just light westerly winds. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees.
Mostly dry with isolated showers on Friday. A good deal of cloud around with just occasional sunshine. Highs of 15 to 19 degrees with light northwest breezes.
Cloudy along Atlantic coasts with overnight drizzle, temperatures here not falling below 10 degrees. Dry elsewhere with lows of 5 to 8 degrees. It will turn misty or foggy in some parts in mostly calm conditions.
Some patchy rain likely in Atlantic coastal counties on Saturday; staying mostly dry further east with a mix of cloud and bright spells. Highs for most between 16 to 19 or perhaps 20 degrees, but cooler under cloudier skies to the west. Just light breezes.
Rather cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle on Sunday; mainly in the west and northwest with brighter weather elsewhere and the odd shower. Highs of 16 to 19 degrees, possibly cooler for the north and west. Light to moderate northwest winds.
Further outlook: Currently indications are showing rain in many places on Monday, followed by some showers on Tuesday. Temperatures falling back to the low to mid teens.
