Athlone Croí na hÉireann awards night

The Athlone Croí na hÉireann festival group is hosting an awards night on Tuesday, May 2 at 7.15pm in the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone

The group is so grateful to everyone who participated in this year's parade and festival.

The five-day Croí na hÉireann festival to mark St Patrick's weekend in Athlone featured a jam-packed programme of events right throughout the weekend, culminating with a spectacular St Patrick's Parade on Sunday, March 19 last.

Local businesswoman Tanya Cannon from A1 Cleaning was a very popular choice as Grand Marshal for this year's parade showpiece.
