Clara man acts as Aide de Camp to President Biden at state function

Rory O'Reilly from Clara acted as Aide de Camp to US President Joe Biden at a state function on Thursday last.

Commandant O'Reilly is in the Irish Defence Forces and is based in Cork. He works between Cork and Kildare.

Comdt O'Reilly surprised everyone by being on TV on Thursday evening to assist the President at the state function all night. He just only told his family that he was attending the function and that they might spot him on TV.

Little Town Media Facebook page posted on the social network, congratulating the Clara man on his work. "Did anyone spot our very own Rory O’Reilly as Aide-De-Camp to President Biden? No better than a Clara man to watch your back."

Comdt O'Reilly's colleague Claire also acted as an Aide de Camp to Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at the state dinner.

Comdt O’Reilly is the son of Helen and Joe O'Reilly from Clara.
