Offaly Camogie names a cup in Ashling's honour

The Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund has issued a sincere thank you to Offaly Camogie who have honoured Ashling by naming a cup in her memory.

This year, the Division 1 league winners will be presented with the newly named Ashling Murphy Memorial Cup.

"Camogie played a pivotal part in Ashling’s life. Many a training session she committed to and numerous matches she played wearing various school colours and her Kilcormac/Killoughey club jersey," the Aisling Murphy Memorial Fund posted on social media this evening.

"A kind gesture and fitting tribute in memory of Ashling," it added.
