Seetec relocates Athlone office

Seetec, the company which delivers employment services on behalf of the Department of Social Protection, is on the move in Athlone.

Previously based in Northgate Street, Seetec recently located from a premises beside the AIB bank, to the Townhouse Centre in St Mary's Square, the firm confirmed, following queries from the Westmeath Independent.

In a brief statement, Seetec said it has supported 1,000 people into work in the town since 2015. It is contracted by the Department of Social Protection to deliver Intreo Partner employment services in Athlone.

“Our team is proud to continue delivering these important services in Athlone with the valued support of local employer partners,” it said.

Seetec employs 250 people at over 50 locations across Ireland and actively engages with over 29,000 people, according to its website, providing a range of employment services and assistance to clients referred by the department to help people back into work or training.

In November of last year, Seetec was awarded a new five-year contract after a tender process for the Department of Social Protection’s Intreo partner national employment service in counties Dublin, Louth, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan, Westmeath, Longford, Roscommon, Leitrim, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal.
