Man to appear in court this morning in connection with human trafficking investigation

The man arrested yesterday by Mullingar Gardaí as part of ongoing investigations into human trafficking is due to appear before Longford District Court this morning at 10.30am.

The male in his 30s was arrested by Mullingar Gardaí in County Galway yesterday during a search and arrest operation.

He was detained last night at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996.
