World dance success for Ellen and Kate!

The Reynolds Academy of Irish Dancing in Walderstown is in celebratory mood this week after two of their dances achieved top four finishes at the prestigious Chomhdháil World Irish Dance Championships in Killarney over the Easter weekend.

Not only that, but one of the dancers who earned a World Globe learned her dancing steps from her two sisters and brother-in-law, who run the Reynolds Academy!

17-year old Ellen Reynolds came 4th in the girls U/17 section at the Worlds, have received her most recent dancing tuition from her sister, Elizabeth, and also being a past pupil of another sister, Julieanne and brother-in-law, Eoghan Darcy, who run the Reynolds Academy of Irish Dancing.

Ellen is the daughter of Paul and Lily Reynolds from Walderstown, while a second dancer from the Reynolds Academy, Kate Corcoran from Mount Temple came 4th in the girls U/11 category. She is daughter of Laura and Bernard Corcoran.
