Minister invites students to webinar with careers counsellor

An online event hosted by a Longford Westmeath TD aims to support students and their families who are coping with the added pressure of studying remotely.

Minister of State at the Department of Business, Robert Troy TD, will host a webinar for fifth and sixth year students and their parents and guardians with career guidance counsellor, Brian Mooney, on Wednesday next, February 10.

Mr Mooney will share tips for studying, managing stress, and what students should be doing to get the best out of learning.

Students are invited to submit questions which will be put to Mr Mooney on the night (the event is on at 6.30-7.30pm).

If time allows, there will also be an opportunity for questions, but to avoid disappointment, students are encouraged to submit questions in advance.

Places are limited, so participants are asked to confirm attendance ahead of time.
