Athlone eatery among finalists in national take-away awards

Ken's Oriental Restaurant in Athlone is among the finalists in the Just Eat National Takeaway Awards, having received nominations in no fewer than four categories.

Some 77 restaurants were shortlisted for the finals of the awards, which offer the competing eateries a chance to win a media support package worth €20,000.

Ken's in Athlone, which recently opened its new premises at the Crescent, has been nominated in the: Best take-away in Ireland; Best take-away in Leinster; Best Chinese; and Best spice-bag categories.

People across Ireland encouraged to cast their votes to choose the winners at nationaltakeawayawards.just-eat.ie, before Wednesday, November 25.

People who cast votes are in with a chance to win free take-away for a year.

The winners of the 2020 Just Eat National Takeaway Awards will be announced on Friday, November 27.
