Community Games: Ballymore has two teams entered into this year"s soccer competition - over 10/under 15, and over 15/under 17 yrs. The blitz will take place in Gainstown on Sunday, February 8. Registration to participate in Art, Swimming and Athletics takes place Thursday February 12 from 6.30pm to 7pm at Ballymore Community Centre. Local swimming gala will held before end of February. Ballymore Community Centre Monday night is Bingo night in Ballymore, eyes down at 8.30pm. If you would like to help out at bingo - one Monday night a month - please call to bingo and we will include your name to the bingo rota. Thursday Club After an extended Christmas break the Thursday Club is back starting a 2.30pm. New members always welcome Bus service available - contact Mary Connaughton if you would like to avail of the bus service. Youth Club Please note change of times: Thursday 7pm - 8pm for 9 years to 12 years and Thursday 8.15pm - 9.15pm for 13 years - 18 years Adult Leadership Induction Training starts at 7pm on Thursday, February 26, at the centre - for any parents who could make the last training session. It is hoped to run Child Protection courses the following week. Ballymore National School Good luck to the children from Ballymore National School who are taking part in the Mullingar Credit Union Schools Quiz in Mullingar"s Arts Centre next Friday, February 6. Regular events. Monday Traditional Music lessons have been arranged from 3.30pm to 5.30pm every Monday in the Community Centre. All ages and standards are welcome. Monday night is Bingo night in Ballymore. Regulars will already know that there are great prizes on offer and the craic is mighty. So if you haven"t managed to come along so far why not give it a try, meet up with old friends and make new ones, eyes down from 8pm. If anyone would like to help run the Bingo the Community Centre Committee would love to here from you. Please speak to one of them on the evening and we will add you to the rota. Wednesday Ballymore"s indoor bowls club meet every Wednesday evening in the Community Centre from 8pm. The Club has been a successful part of the Community for a number of years now and is always on the look out for new talent as well as those who just want to bowl socially. Why not call in tonight and one of the members would be only too happy to show you around and help get you started. Flat shoes are required. Thursday Club The Thursday Club from 2.30pm in the Community Centre. New members are always welcome. Ballymore Youth Club - Every Thursday 9 - 12 yrs 7 -8pm and 13 - 18 yrs 8.15 - 9.15pm. Friday Boher Foroige 7.30pm - 9pm in the Boher Hall. New Members always welcome. Sunday The choir meet every Sunday evening and would welcome new members to come along and join them.
