The winners of the Athlone Business Awards
Some 350 people gathered at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on Saturday night to celebrate local business achievement at the Athlone Business Awards.
The awards, organised by Athlone Chamber of Commerce, resulted in winners being chosen in 13 categories.
The Business Person of the Year Award went to Alan McNeice of Jazz Pharmaceuticals Alan, from Kiltoom, as site leader, established Jazz Pharmaceuticals facility in Monksland.
The Business of the Year Award went to Oliver Carty, with the award being accepted by Ted Carty.
This year, the Community Engagement Award went to Dun na Si.
