Francis Brennan, who once again teamed up with the expert audiologists at Specsavers this year as their hearing ambassador, was on hand at Specsavers Athlone on Friday last to encourage the people of Westmeath not to suffer in silence.
With one in six Irish adults affected by hearing loss, a shocking 69% of adults have not had their hearing tested in the last five years.
Francis, who fronts RTÉ’s popular show At Your Service, was highlighting the importance of taking a proactive approach to hearing loss, as with today’s technology and expertise easily available at Specsavers Athlone, there is no need for people to suffer in silence.
