Number of cases rises by 204
A seventh person diagnosed with COVID-19 has died, the Department of Health has confirmed.
The patient is a male and in the east of the country, with an underlying health condition.
There have now been seven COVID-19 related deaths in Ireland.
As of 1pm today, there were 204 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland, bringing the total to1,329 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
As of midnight on Sunday, there were 21 confirmed cases in Westmeath, up just one from midnight on Saturday.
In Roscommon, on midnight on Sunday, there remained five or fewer confirmed cases.
