Ukrainian artist's solo exhibition to open in Athlone Civic Centre on Monday
Ukrainian artist Natalia Yakorieva is set to open her solo exhibition Petals and Pulse at the atrium space in Athlone's Civic Centre, on Monday next, April 28.
The exhibition will include a variety of paintings, drawings and etchings.
Described as "a deeply personal and vibrant collection of works," Petals and Pulse explores the artist’s "enduring love for the world in all its forms — from blooming gardens and symbolic portraits to colourful abstractions".
"Through printing, drawing, etching, and interior painting, Natalia invites viewers into a world where beauty, peace, and the rhythms of nature speak a universal language of harmony and hope," stated a summary of the exhibition.
Petals and Pulse also "captures moments of stillness and motion, reflecting the artist’s own journey from Ukraine to Ireland, and her ongoing commitment to sharing beauty, resilience, and humanity through art."
The exhibition will remain on display in the atrium space at Athlone Civic Centre until May 23.
