PlayStation The Concert: Everything you need to know about the show

With the popularity of video game concerts continuing to grow, PlayStation has decided to bring together the soundtracks from its blockbuster games to live audiences.

While some shows focus on a single franchise (such as Sonic or Final Fantasy), PlayStation’s concert draws on a vast library of games.

Music from God of War, The Last of Us, Horizon and Ghost of Tsushima, among many others, will be performed by a live orchestra alongside cutting‑edge visuals.

Here is everything you need to know about the tour, which starts in Ireland this weekend.

When is the PlayStation The Concert on?

The tour kicks off this Saturday, April 19th, in Dublin at the 3Arena.

Tickets for the show are still available and start from €66, which can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

Doors open at 6pm, and the concert runs until 7:30pm.

What can you expect from the show?

The music has been reimagined for the live stage in collaboration with composers Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us), Bear McCreary (God of War), Ilan Eshkeri (Ghost of Tsushima) and Joris de Man (Horizon). The concert promises beloved soundtracks delivered with unmatched emotional depth and power.

Picture the soaring orchestral melodies of God of War filling the venue, the haunting notes of The Last of Us pulling at your heartstrings, and the sweeping score of Ghost of Tsushima immersing you in feudal Japan — all brought to life by an electrifying ensemble.

There will also be music from smaller titles such as Helldivers II, Journey, and Astro Bot.

At the heart of the show are 15 world‑class virtuoso soloists, each delivering show‑stopping performances that blend classical mastery with contemporary flair.

Advanced LED projection, surround sound, and multi‑layered visuals will immerse audiences in PlayStation’s most iconic gaming universes.

For over 30 years, PlayStation has been synonymous with groundbreaking storytelling and unforgettable adventures. Organisers say this concert captures that legacy, honouring the artistry and innovation that have defined PlayStation for generations.

Where else will the concert be?

If you can’t catch the Dublin show, there are dates in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and London later this month.

From there, the tour continues through Europe, with performances scheduled in Belgium, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Unfortunately, several other shows have been cancelled or postponed across Europe.

Many ticket‑holders report receiving emails notifying them of the changes. It is unclear whether the cancellations are due to low demand or technical issues, but tickets for some locations have been discounted.
