Beatles tribute band to make stop in Athlone's Dean Crowe Theatre

Athlone's Dean Crowe Theatre will play host to Liverpool-based Beatles tribute band The Mersey Beatles next week.

Taking place on Saturday, April 19, The Mersey Beatles are stopping in Athlone as part of their biggest tour yet.

The show celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Beatles' famous concert at Shea Stadium in New York in 1965, and features their 1965 hits.

The Mersey Beatles consists of members Mark Bloor as John, Steven Howard as Paul, Craig McGown as George and Brian Ambrose as Ringo.
