PHOTOS: Local star Heather Payne models 'St Patrick's-themed' Everton clothing range
Ballinasloe native Heather Payne was at the forefront of a new Everton FC clothing launch this month.
The local 25-year-old, who signed for Everton two years ago, was chosen to model the 'St Patrick's Day collection' developed by the Fanatics clothing brand in conjunction with the club.
Heather, and her fellow Irish international clubmates Courtney Brosnan and Jake O'Brien, modelled the new gear, which was designed to pay tribute to Everton's "deep-rooted Irish heritage".
Promotional material for the limited edition t-shirt and hoodie described them as "a must-have for those who appreciate the club's deep historical ties and timeless style".
Heather, from the Roscommon side of Ballinasloe, played her youth soccer with Ballinasloe Town and the ADSL, before progressing to the women's League of Ireland with Peamount.
After making her international debut as a 17-year-old, in 2017, she hit a milestone in her career last month when she secured her 50th cap for Ireland.
