Garda appeal for owner of item found in Athlone

Gardai in Athlone are looking for the owner of an item found near Burgess Park in the town.

On a Garda social media page, a photo was shared of the red shopping bag which was found.

"The owner will know what is inside it," stated the Garda post.

Gardai are asking the owner to get in touch with its property office in Athlone on 09064 21710.
