Public consultation on design of Athlone's Dublin Road Active Travel Scheme

Westmeath County Council are hosting a Public Information and Feedback Session on the initial design of Athlone's Dublin Road Active Travel Scheme.

The session will take place in Athlone Civic Centre on Tuesday, February 11, from 3pm to 8pm.

The Active Travel Scheme on the Dublin Road include the stretch of road from the Creggan Roundabout to Ankers Bower area of the town.

Westmeath County Council, in conjunction with the National Transport Authority (NTA), invites residents of the local area, members of the public and interested parties to attend a public information and feedback session on the initial design the project.

The initial design will be on display and staff/designers will be available to answer queries on the day.

The initial design will remain available to view and feedback comments will be accepted until Close of Business on Friday, February 21.
