Numerous Athlone Town players chosen for development fixture

A number of players from the Athlone Town women's first team will feature in a training game between the Ireland Women’s Development Group and Ireland Women’s Under-19s at the FAI National Training Centre.

As part of the ongoing development of pathways for future international players, this behind-closed-doors game will provide Ireland Women’s National Team Head Coach Carla Ward, and her support staff, the opportunity to observe some of the most high potential young players available during the next international window in February.
