Mount Temple Drama Group to stage ‘Boeing Boeing’

Mount Temple Drama Group is making final preparations for take-off, with its 2024 production 'Boeing Boeing' set to hit the runway in Moate's Tuar Ard Arts Centre from November 13 to 16.

'Boeing Boeing', written by Marc Camoletti, is a play in three acts, and tells the story of charismatic architect Bernard, who lives a quite unusual yet idyllic life in his Paris apartment.

However, when his old friend Robert, and a storm, interfere with his carefully laid out plans, chaos and comedy soon ensue!

Mount Temple Drama Group says attendees should have their seatbelt fastened and their seats in the upright position, because this will be a night to remember!

This year's production is significant due to the fact that the group has a brand-new director, Moate native Eamonn Browne Carey, who performed last year onstage in Mount Temple’s production of 'Da'.

This year, Eamonn has swapped the spotlight for backstage and has helped bring this magnificent comedy to life.

The cast includes Frank O’Rourke as Bernard, James Paradise as Robert, Michele O'Brien as Bertha, Jenny Cooper as Gloria, Ruth Benson as Gabriella and Mary Martin as Gretchen.

The production will open in the Tuar Ard Arts Centre on Wednesday next, November 13, and run until Saturday, November 16. Curtains at 8pm sharp.
