Athlone art donation raises over €500 for South Westmeath Hospice

Athlone artist and teacher Emer Gaffey donated one of her prints of Athlone for a raffle in aid of the South Westmeath Hospice during her recent successful exhibition in the Athlone Art Gallery.

The raffle raised €520 for this important local cause.

Emer's exhibition, Roots and Reflections, opened in Athlone Art Gallery in late July. The gallery is based in The Village at Burgess department store on Lloyd’s Lane, Athlone.

Her work can still be seen in the ‘Art meets fashion’ windows of Burgess Department Store until mid-November.
