Saturday Sport: Liverpool beat Palace 1-0, Leinster face Benetton in Italy

Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park and will head into the international break top of the Premier League.

They have moved four points clear of Manchester City and Arsenal - who are in action against Fulham and Southampton respectively this afternoon.

City are being held 1-1 by Fulham at half-time while Arsenal and Southampton remains scoreless.

Elsewhere, it is West Ham 2 Ipswich 1 with Mikel Antonio and Mohammad Kudus with the goals for the Hammers.

Republic of Ireland defender Nathan Collins has scored for Brentford who lead Wolves 4-2.

Leicester City are 1-0 up at home to Bournemouth with a goal from Facundo Buonanotte.

The final game of the day sees Newcastle travel to Everton at 5:30pm.

Shelbourne know they need to win to keep their Women's Premier Division title hopes alive.

If they fail to beat Peamount United, they'll open the door for Athlone to capture their first league title win against Bohemians.
