Moate students to represent Ireland at the Junk Kouture World Final

Moate Community School students Emma Kinahan, Lucy Champ and Emma Keane will represent at the upcoming Junk Kouture World Final.

The design was one of ten teams announced as World Finalists at the Junk Kouture Dublin City Final in the RDS on October 1.

The Moate students will bring their design, titled Alpacalypse, to the world stage. The design is made from alpaca wool and synthetic leather.

At the World Final, they will take on design champs from London, Milan, Paris, New York, and Dubai in a bid to snag the crown of World Designer of the Year.

If you missed the Junk Kouture Dublin Final, you can catch all the highlights on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player on Wednesday, October 16 at 7pm.
