Bus Éireann to host Athlone driver recruitment event this evening

Bus Éireann is holding an Athlone open evening this evening (Tuesday) as part of its efforts to recruit bus drivers.

The event will take place at the Athlone Springs Hotel in Monksland from 5pm to 8pm.

The Athlone event is part of a series of open days being organised by the company in various parts of the country.

Bus Éireann said the open days present "a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with our colleagues, gain insights into our company, and apply for exciting job openings."

At some of the open days, prospective bus drivers may also have "the opportunity to fast track your application on the day by doing an interview, driving assessment and written assessment."

Bus Éireann added that it was "actively seeking individuals with driving licence in categories D and B to operate our buses."
