Athlone primary school teacher to launch new children's novel this Saturday
An Athlone primary school teacher is launching his new children's novel, An Incredibly Daring Heist Brought To You By A Ten-Year-Old Criminal Mastermind, in the town's library this Saturday (March 22).
Coosan native James Hannon, who teaches in Summerhill National School, is launching the book in Athlone Library at 12 noon.
The event will include a Q&A session with the author, and the book's illustrator Fiona Moran, as well as sweets, refreshments, and a book reading.
An Incredibly Daring Heist Brought To You By A Ten-Year-Old Criminal Mastermind is the latest instalment in James's book series, The Ballinacrack Chronicles.
The former Coosan NS and Marist College student launched his debut novel and the first part of the series, The Thrilling Adventures of an Extremely Boring Boy, in 2023, after writing it during the Covid-19 pandemic.
All are welcome to attend the fun-filled launch of his new book this weekend.
