Athlone GAA to host opening Westmeath LGFA minor football provincial fixture

Athlone GAA will host the opening fixture of Westmeath's LGFA minor Leinster championship football campaign on Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

Carlow provide the opposition at the Pairc Chiaráin venue which has been chosen for the first of three round robin fixtures with a competitive outing to follow on March 22 away in Kilkenny. The Lake County will conclude their group phase fixtures with a home fixture against Offaly at a venue to be decided.
