It will be the first of 14 live games that TG4 will broadcast during the 2025 season.

The Athlone side will again be shown on TG4 in May, with live coverage planned of its visit west to take on Galway United on Saturday, May 3 (kick-off 7.35pm).

The Athlone Town men's team, meanwhile, will be playing their first home game of the season tomorrow (Friday) night against Treaty United.

The Athlone Town men suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Dundalk, who are managed by ex-Athlone women's team boss Ciaran Kilduff, in their opening game of the 2025 SSE Airtricity League First Division campaign on Friday last.
