Cillian Murphy and Nicola Coughlan among stars set to attend IFTA Awards

Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy, Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan, and Golden Globe winner Saoirse Ronan are among the Irish stars set to attend the IFTA Awards in Dublin on Friday.

Colm Meaney will receive the IFTA Lifetime Achievement Award on the night.

The IFTA Awards take place on Friday, February 14th, at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre and will be broadcast on RTÉ One this Saturday, February 15th, at 10.55pm.

Cillian Murphy (Small Things Like These), Saoirse Ronan (The Outrun, Blitz), Andrew Scott (Ripley), Ruth Negga (PresumedInnocent), Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters), Anthony Boyle (Say Nothing, Masters of the Air); Kneecap’s JJ Ó Dochartaigh, Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh and Naoise Ó Cairealláin, and Liam Cunningham (3 Body Problem), are among the stars set to attend the ceremony.

Up for Awards on the night are Eileen Walsh (Small Things Like These), Steve Wall (Oddity), Zara Devlin (Small Things Like These), Fionnuala Flaherty (Kneecap), Michael Smiley (Bad Sisters), Chris Walley (Bodkin), Simone Kirby (Kneecap), Peter Coonan (KingFrankie, Kathleen is Here), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), Jessie Buckley (Wicked Little Letters), Ciarán Hinds (The Dry), Paul Mescal (Gladiator II), Siobhán Cullen (The Dry, Bodkin), Carolyn Bracken (Oddity), Jessica Reynolds (Kneecap), Eve Hewson (BadSisters) , Michael Fassbender (The Agency, Kneecap), David Wilmot (Bodkin) and Fiona Shaw (Bad Sisters), among others.

The Irish Academy Awards are funded by Screen Ireland and Coimisiún na Meán.
