New Festival Director for Athlone-based RTE All Ireland Drama Festival

The RTE All Ireland Drama Festival has announced the addition of a new Festival Director, Michael McGlone.

Mr McGlone is taking over from Regina Bushell, who has served in the role for the past six years.

Taking to social media to share the news, RTE All Ireland Drama Festival wrote: "We are looking forward to working with Michael on the 2025 festival, and we wish him the best of luck alongside his continuing Secretary Doreen and Treasurer Alan."

Preparations for the 2025 RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival began in October of last year, with the crew eager to prepare for the annual event.
