Moate choir's Christmas Concert raises €7,250 for charity
Moate choir An Cór Lár Tíre have raised €7,250 for charity with their Christmas Concert.
The concert, which took place in Coosan Church in Athlone on December 22, raised funds for Accessible Counselling Tullamore, Join Our Boys Trust, and South Westmeath Hospice.
Taking to Facebook to share the update, An Cór Lár Tíre wrote: "A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas performance, and to those who donated some extra funds to our grand total. None of this would be possible without our incredible choir members - thank you one and all."
The sold out performance was directed by An Cór Lár Tíre Choral Director Giselle Foley, and provided a magical night of entertainment for all those in attendance.
The choir wish to extend a special thanks to Josephine Donohoe and the Carmelite Pastoral Centre for hosting their weekly rehearsal, and to their sponsors, St. Brigid's Credit Union Ltd and Irlequip ltd, for their kind donations towards the printing programs.
