Athlone student to to fore at BT Young Scientists
A young Our Lady's Bower student is capturing attention at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) 2025, which is underway in the RDS, Dublin, this week.
Michelle Hughes was featured among the official media photos of the exhibition's opening day on Wednesday, and she was also included in video footage of the first day, introducing the highlights package.

Michelle's project is 'Starry Nights or Missed Delights'. The project evaluated public interest in astronomical events, identified participation barriers, and implemented interventions to foster a deeper connection with the universe.
It is competing in the senior individual section of the Social & Behavioural Sciences category.
