Moate CS ladies' Leinster final postponed due to weather

A Leinster final appearance for the Moate Community School junior ladies football team has been postponed due to the current wintry weather.

The Moate side had been due to take on Maynooth EC in the Leinster 'A' decider at 12.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday) in Kinnegad.

However a number of sporting fixtures have fallen victim to the elements in recent days, and it was confirmed today that the Moate school's game would also not be going ahead.

It's hoped that the game can be rescheduled for next week, but this is yet to be confirmed.

The Moate CS senior ladies side lost their Leinster 'A' final clash against their opponents from Maynooth in Kinnegad on December 12.
