Snow and ice warning issued for Westmeath this afternoon

The Met Éireann Weather Warning Alerting Service have included Westmeath in another advisory note today.

It is a ‘Yellow’ level warning for snow and ice, with this message: ‘Falls of sleet and snow with snowfall accumulations expected.’

Met Éireann predict: hazardous travelling conditions and travel disruption, and poor visibility.

The warning was issued today just before 2pm and it is valid till 5pm today.

Affected regions: Cavan, Dublin, Galway, Kildare, Longford, Louth, Meath, Monaghan, Roscommon, Westmeath, and Wexford.
