Tullamore Harriers News

Michael Murphy made light work of the Kilbeggan 6k road race on St Stephen's Day, knocking 30 seconds off the previous course record in his home town, taking the win in 18.00 minutes flat.

The race, organised by Tullamore Harriers member Dermot Smith, is an annual fundraising event for Crumlin children's hospital. There was a great turnout, with over 400 athletes crossing the finish line - a very impressive number for this time of year.

Paul Mitchell had a great run too, taking second position and next for Tullamore Harriers in 7th place was Jonathan Dunne. Well done to all the club runners who competed.
