Maura Higgins traded jungle for Midlands hotel this Christmas

Ballymahon native star Maura Higgins traded the jungle for a relaxing break in the Glasson Lakehouse over the Christmas period.

The 34-year-old has just come off of a recent appearance on the fan favourite show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Taking to Instagram to share a sneak peak into her festive getaway, Maura posted a few snaps of the cosy staycation.

The photos shared an insider look at one of the hotels luxurious Lakeview Suites which cost about €600 per night.

The break was spent with Maura's family, and reportedly her rumoured beau Pete Wicks.

While the pair didn’t pose for any festive photos together, they did share snaps of their drinks in the same pub.
