The meeting of Liverpool and Manchester City has kicked off in the Premier League.

The hosts lead 1-0 at Anfield through Cody Gakpo, where a win would send them 11 points clear of City in the title race.

Conor Bradley isn't part of the Liverpool line-up - he's set to be out until the new year with injury.

Manchester United have their first Premier League win under the management of Ruben Amorim.

They beat Everton by four goals to nil at Old Trafford, where Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both scored twice.

Elsewhere, Chelsea were 3-nil winners over Aston Villa while Tottenham and Fulham played out a 1-all draw in north London.

Sligo's Coolera/Strandhill are Connacht club football champions for the first time.

They beat Padraig Pearses of Roscommon by 1-15 to 1-14 at Markievicz Park after extra-time - and will now play Cuala in the All-Ireland semi-finals.

It's the first time a Sligo club has won the competition since 1983.

Sarsfields of Cork lead Waterford's Ballygunner by 1-11 to 1-8 at half-time in the Munster club hurling final in Thurles.

The Ulster Hurling final later from 5pm pits Portaferry of Down against Cushendall's conquerors Slaughtneil at the Athletic Grounds.

An All-Ireland Club Ladies Football final date with Kilmacud Crokes is the reward for the winners of today's second semi-final between Clann Eireann and Kilkerrin-Clonberne.

Galway's Kilkerrin-Clonberne lead 2-10 to 1-8 approaching full-time.

Clare's Truagh-Clonlara are through to the All Ireland senior camogie final.

They beat St Vincent's of Dublin in their semi-final by 11 points to nine.

In the other semi-final, Galway's Sarsfields beat Loughiel Shamrocks by 1-16 to 3-9.
