Singer-songwriter Paddy Casey set for Moate gig
Irish singer-songwriter Paddy Casey is to return to Moate later this month as part of his nationwide tour.
Paddy previously recorded a St Patrick's Day 2021 performance in Egan's in the town, but his gig on Saturday, November 30, will be his first appearance at Tuar Ard Arts Centre.
Having been at the forefront of the Irish music scene since his multi-platinum selling debut album 'Amen (So Be It)', Paddy's career has taken him all over the globe, touring with acts like The Pretenders, R.E.M, Ian Brown, Blondie and Tracy Chapman, to name but a few.
His songs were also featured in hit television shows such as 'Dawson's Creek' and 'Roswell', while his second album 'Living' went on to become one of the biggest-ever selling albums in Ireland (approximately 15 times platinum).
His performance in Tuar Ard on November 30 is scheduled for 8pm and tickets, priced €25 plus booking fee, are on sale now from the venue's website, www.tuarard.ie
