Athlone GAA host gambling addiction talk with Tony O’Reilly

Athlone GAA and the Athlone Family Resource Network are hosting a talk and presentation with gambling addiction counsellor and author Tony O’Reilly.

The talk is set to take place today, Monday, October 21 from 7.15pm to 9.15pm in the Athlone GAA clubhouse.

Tony is the co-author of ‘Tony10’, a bestselling and award-winning book that tells the story of his gambling addiction and subsequent recovery.

The book was co-authored with journalist and Athlone native Declan Lynch.

Tony is now an accredited counsellor who specialises in gambling addiction counselling and delivers psycho-educational workshops and talks about problem gambling and gaming.

This promises to be an informative and thought-provoking evening and is open to all, including non-members, and light refreshments will be served.

Start time is 7.15pm sharp on Monday October 21 in Áras Chiaráin, N37 PW42.
