Visit of Relics of St Bernadette

The Relics of St Bernadette of Lourdes will visit the Diocese of Meath this month, and will be present at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar.

On Monday October 21 at 2pm, there will be a Liturgy of Welcome to begin veneration of the relics, and at 7pm, there will be sung evening prayer with candlelight procession and Rosary.

On Tuesday October 22, daily Masses are 7.45am and 10am, and there is veneration of the Relics throughout the day.

At 2pm, there is Mass with Anointing of the Sick, and at 7pm, Mass of Our Lady of Lourdes.

The event encourages prayer, penance, and healing, serving as a reminder of the graces associated with Lourdes.

A candlelight procession inspired by St Bernadette, along with recitations of the Rosary and the anointing of the sick can help participants deepen their connection to St Bernadette and the spirituality of Lourdes.
