Moate Culture Night features launch of local artist's latest exhibition

There was a full house at Tuar Ard Arts Centre in Moate on Culture Night for another successful exhibition launch by artist Thomasina Earley.

Thomasina's artwork is unique in that she uses soils and earths rather than paints to create her pieces.

As her work is all about connection and the cycle of life, Thomasina invited her mother, Dr Christine Moran, who is an academic and physiotherapist to open the event on Friday, September.

With over 45 people in attendance, the energy of the space on Culture Night was enhanced by the sound of drum and voice by Anne Marie Hynes of soundyoursoul.ie, who was accompanied by Shane Dunne on a New Zealand flute.

Thomasina would like to thank all who attended, supported and purchased work.

The exhibition will remain open to the public at Tuar Ard until October 18, and Thomasina has made herself available for enquires and to meet visitors for the duration of the show

In November, she will head for the second time to the RDS in Dublin for Art Source, Ireland's largest art show.
