Local artist's works on show in Dún na Sí

The launch of a new exhibition by local artist Ann Wingfield took place at Dún na Sí, Moate this week.

The 'Walking with Ghosts' exhibition was launched on Wednesday, 11 September in the Bothán gallery of the Heritage Park, and will remain open to the public until Sunday, September 29.

The exhibition is described as "an assemblage of personal artefacts and narratives", and is a community project supported by Westmeath County Council, Arts Westmeath and Creative Ireland.

Dún na Sí's General Manager, Karen Nugent said, “We are delighted to be able to display this collection of art from members of our local community. The Bothán is a perfect location for it”.

The Heritage Park is open from 10am every day, with last entry at 4pm. Ticket prices are available at: www.dunnasi.ie.
