Busy autumn schedule getting underway at the Dean Crowe Theatre

The new autumn schedule kicks off this weekend at the Dean Crowe Theatre, with lots of fantastic entertainment coming your way.

If comedy is your thing, the Athlone venue has the hilarious Jarlath Regan performing this Friday night (September 13) and tickets are almost sold out, with just a few remaining.

Comedy will then return on October 5, with the fantastic Neil Delamere performing his show, 'Neil By Mouth'. Again tickets are selling fast for this one.

The Dean Crowe is delighted to be hosting the Heart of Ireland Burlesque Festival this year, which takes place on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22. This promises to be a feast of entertainment, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Bring the kids (and big kids) along to see Roar Roar Dinosaur on Sunday, September 29. This will be a spectacular show with some 'Real Dinosaurs', over 7 feet tall, roaming around the theatre and lots of interactive fun to be had. Definitely one not to be missed.

Management at the Dean Crowe are over the moon to announce the return of 'One Tribe' after a five-year hiatus.

This year's show 'Back for Good' will be an uplifting and heartwarming production of music, dancing and art from the wonderful members of St Hilda’s Services and Athlone Rehabcare.

Come and watch the joy that can be brought to the stage by this amazing group of performers, on Friday, October 4.

If you like contemporary Irish music, do not miss Onoir on Saturday, October 12. This is one of Ireland's best contemporary groups on the circuit at the minute, and tickets are selling fast.

The Crokey Hill Players will be returning to the local stage with the hilarious comedy from Tommy Marren, 'Matches and Old Flames', which takes to the stage on Friday and Saturday, October 25 and 26.

Bollywood is coming to the Dean Crowe with a spectacular event on October 20 featuring music, singing, dancing and beautiful costumes. There will also be a feast of wonderful Indian food.

Aisling Fennell and her talented performers from Attitude Stage School, take to the stage on Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2, so don’t have a "hard knock life" and make your way to the Dean Crowe Theatre where the Sun always comes out!

Swifties should note that the Dean Crowe has not one but two Taylor Swift experiences coming your way!

The first, 'Taylor Fever' is on Friday, November 22, and is already sold out, but do not worry, because on Sunday, December 15, we have the 'Swiftiez Family day'. This will be a wonderful tribute to Taytay herself, and a great afternoon for all the family.

For country music fans, there will be an amazing night of country on Saturday, November 23, with 'Soul Street, Made in Tennessee', which is a tribute to legends of the country scene such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood and many more.

Who doesn't like a bit of Abba? 'Abba Forever' comes to the theatre on Thursday, November 28, playing all the hits, and would be a brilliant Christmas party night out.
