Monksland Community Mass resumes tomorrow night

The very popular Monksland Community Mass is due to resume tomorrow night (Thursday, September 12) after taking a well-earned summer break.

The Community Mass will take place at 8pm in Monksland Community Centre on the old Tuam Road, and all are welcome to attend.

The Mass, which is being celebrated with the special theme of praying for children who are sick and their families, will be followed by tea, scones and a friendly chat.

Meanwhile, the Season of Creation celebration is currently underway in the Parish of Ss. Peter & Paul's in Athlone, and will conclude on October 4 next. An Ecumenical Service to mark the season will take place in Ss. Peter & Paul's Church on Wednesday, October 2 next at 7.30pm and all are invited to attend.
